About Me

I'm Kate Taylor, a senior writer at WIRED, covering the future of work. Previously, I was a senior correspondent at Business Insider, writing deeply-reported features on everything from exploitation at Brandy Melville to Subway's downward spiral. My exposé on Dan Schneider inspired the Emmy-nominated docuseries "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV."

I earned my MBA from Columbia Business School. Before that, I spent years reporting on the business of fast food — including eating Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster three years in a row.
